SpellForce is a game that needs little to no introduction to fans of the series or either of the genreā€™s it most predominantly lives in. As a hybrid of sorts, it leans into the most recognizable Dexterity increases the possibility of a critical hit, strength increases the block possibility. A weapon has several factors: 1. Attack speed / Damage per second. 2. Crit Chance / block Chance. 3. Damage type/s and enemy resistances. I prefer for my tanks to take strength to increase the block Chance. Playing the first one right now. Can confirm, it is a little slow going and takes a while to finish all three campaigns (looking at 50 hours+, depending on how many subquests you do). Posted May 19, 2019. Never played Spellforce 1, could not endure Spellforce 2's campaign (REALLY cringe worthy dialogue and acting). I managed to get into Spellforce 3 just fine though, and understood what's going on perfectly well. Dialogue is leaps and bounds ahead of Spellforce 2, the acting is MUCH better, and the considering the current discount it's really worth the buy. Co-Op in SpellForce 3 gives you multiple options: You can split off Hero and RTS control, but you can also control different characters of your hero party. You can also have something like production-control on one player and army control on the other player. SpellForce 3: Fallen God = expansion 2 (Humans, Orcs, Elves, Trolls + third campaign). All of the above will give you the new game modes, Journey and Arena. SpellForce 3: Versus Edition = free multiplayer, but only with 1 race of your choice to pick - either Humans, Orcs or Elves. PvP Upgrade for Versus (DLC) = unlock all the races for versus eNOJT. The SpellForce 3: Versus Edition gives you the chance to enter the battlefields of Eo for free, letting you test your RTS skills against AI opponents or even other human players.
